About Greenwood
Farm Technologies
GFT is a company dedicated to developing and marketing tools that
provide
solutions to problems faced by people and organizations.
History
The company was formed in December 1998 in Mountain View, California
and later moved in September 1999 to Richmond Heights, Ohio.
Greenwood Farm Technologies is named after the George W. Phypers'
family
estate in Richmond Heights which is composed of 9 acres of green trees,
open grass, a barn, and a three story brick house built in 1916.
A creek runs through the property from which deer and raccoon frequently
emerge. The name Greenwood Farm was chosen by Maude Phypers
(Greenwood)
in memory of her childhood home in Ipswich, MA which consists of 100
acres
and two houses. The 'new' house was built c. 1750 and the 'old'
Paine
House (c. 1702). The Trustees of Reservations now maintains Greenwood Farm, Ipswich.
